Antibodies to one or several types of histones or to the H2A-H2B complex are constantly found in medication –drug induced lupus erythematosus (procainamide, hydralazine, Isoniazid, Chlorpromazine, Methyldopa, Anti Convulsants, Sulfasalazine, Captopryl and Beta Blockers). Histones are also found in 30%-70% of patients with disseminated lupus erythematosus and in 15%- 50% of patients with rheumatoid arthritis. In absence of other autoantibodies, especially Sm and dsDNA, is considered a high possible Drug Induced Lupus
